Man sues Pizzicato after breaking two teeth on olive pit

A man in Multnomah County has file suit against Pizzicato pizza after breaking two teeth when he bit into an olive with a whole pit inside. Pizzicato reports that it is talking to their olive provider, since they use pitted olives.  The Pizzicato representative also stated that they strive to make sure that their ingredients meet their high standards through inspections.
The man is suing for $49,999 – $10,414 in medical bills to have his teeth repaired and $39, 585 in pain and suffering. He is accusing Pizzicato of failing to adequately inspect the olives, despite the fact that the olive container stated that there may be pit fragments in the olives.
