In North Dakota, a 20-year old woman was charged with negligent homicide after she rear-ended a vehicle at 85 miles per hour. The 89-year old driver of the other vehicle was killed in the accident.
Cell phone records show that the 20-year old driver was texting, as well as looking at Facebook’s mobile app while driving on the highway. Use of a cell phone while driving is against the law in North Dakota. As a result of her dangerous behavior, the driver has been charged with negligent homicide in Traill County, North Dakota.
